Akeba set up by two life long friends Christine Ridgard hairdresser and Tracy Benjamin beautician. The initiative to set up their own business came about after being made redundant, both seized the opportunity to discuss what they were going to do for employment, a decision to launch their own salon was reached, with no hesitation and a little research around Derby, the ideal property was found.
